Despite a series of public holidays in recent weeks, hiring activity has remained consistent across sectors. Notably, hiring in construction has been surprisingly active despite the challenges faced by the industry.
There has been a strong emphasis on senior talent this month, with over half of new roles at the manager level or above. As always, strong talent at the associate/mid-level is also in strong demand.
While job board activity is still low, the talent market has proven engaged and responsive when presented with competitive opportunities. Happy days to those of us who love the thrill of a headhunt!
